The whole view of the blues

Blue with envy

As you may recall my photos of my work space at the beginning of the month. If not check it out on my earlier post.

I finally finished painting all my recycled office supplies. I'm extremely pleased with the end result. Yesterday I rearranged and set up my cubical and I just love it! It's a warm and comfortable work area. I wasn't very productive the pass couple of weeks and the work mojo was off kilter. But, today it was so perfect and productive.

Cruiser Bike

Here's my bike. It's fun to ride and I'm thinking we should take strolls over the lunch hour, too.

Dance, Boys and Costumes

Here's Gabi and her friends at this years first school dance. She knows she couldn't get away from me photographing the event.

Late nights

Can't seem to sleep these days.....

So I keep on painting my office stuff. I finally finished last night and arranged my office space today. I'm happy with the way it looks, but the real test will be to see how if feels. I'll have to try it on for a few days. I'm one to move things around, you should see my living room, furniture is rearranged all the time! My office space is no different.
The crusier bike was a hit. So far three of us have some pretty cool bikes. Not sure if anyone else is going to go green with us. We did some wise shopping and between the three of us, two bikes free and the other $25. Once we finish getting the third bike to the office I take a photos of us!
Oh did I tell ya..... I won Tom's office pro football pool this week!!!! $200. An they thought a girl from Husker Nation knew nothing about football. I get bragging rights over Tom this week!! That's big.

My Cruiser Bike!!!

We decided to trade driving for walking to the jails, then we decided walking was out and decided to ride bikes. So we got on a mission to buy bikes, old fashion cruiser types.
After several terrible experiences with craigslist I was ready to give up on my search. As i was telling my friend about my troubles. She told me she had a old fashion cruiser bike that she wanted to get rid of ..... omg a bike!
I immediately picked it up and I'm so happy!
Got new seat, new basket, reflectors, and new bell!
I'll post photo soon

Boring Office Space

I moved into a new office building and this is my new cubical and it's nothing but boring. So I decided I needed to do something since all the spaces were identical. Here's what I decided. Blues are theme colors. Started small but will work my way BIG! Will keep you posted.

Reagan, 9 months old

Senior photo shoots

I couldn't get him to smile! He didn't look so serious when I was shooting the pics, but once I looked at them I realized how serious his pose was. The graffiti wall was a great fine!
senior photo shoot this week. She was a great photo subject and fun to work with. Her eyes caught the light perfectly, dont' you think?

Tom's 50!

Worked hard today to celebrate Tom's birthday. Made a music playlist of his concert music from the late 70's - early 80's. Made a flip chart display of his life. We mourned the loss of his youth. We had everyone give him 50 of one item and family & friends did a great job with this, matchsticks, toothpicks, toilet paper squares, snicker mini's, gum, lens clearner, jelly beans, popsicle sticks, corn, beans, nuts, jelly worms, etc. Everyone had fun, especially Tom.

End of the week

Boy was a week. Gone from work for so long sure has it's benefits and drawbacks at the same time. Once I get into my craftroom my head quits spinning from all the work drama. Retirement sure gets more appealing by the week.
It was a sad day for Gabi. She had to put her dog "chiquita" down this afternoon. She was a brave girl and was with Chiquita til the end. We went to a movie, "JUNO". It was a good fun movie. Nice distraction.
I've been working with PMC3 (precious metal clay). I'm loving it and so far have made some pretty cool pendants. Very primative and simple. Using my clay sparinly. I will post pics later this weekend.
